The Creative Mobile Kitchen backstory...

Pinky and Paul's paths crossed at a time when they were both looking for the freedom of a creative endeavour of their own. After working together for a short time, they discovered a shared passion for FRESH and TASTY food without the additives, and served with the intention to reproduce the warm inner glow associated with "Mum's cooking". They are both adamant that the BEST taste achievable comes from preparing a dish from FRESH ingredients.

Chef Pinky is from Hong Kong with a wide background in Asian cuisine, cooking for the family from six years of age, and trained at the Institute of Culinary Excellence.

Chef Paul is from New Zealand and holds London City & Guilds qualifications. Having cooked all over the world, including two stints at Leith's restaurant in London, he has decades of experience as a chef specialising in French cuisine.

 

Hence Creative Mobile Kitchen's slogan ... "From Hong Kong to Paris". Pinky and Paul specialise in both and can create any style of cuisine in between!  They believe you may (or may not) find meals like theirs elsewhere, but that you will not find the flavours they serve. Except maybe at Mum's... because like Mum, they have their own recipes, created and modified over many years, or handed down to them by mums and mentors.
